Seems APG has a eyebrow raising article on a PMI marker that could change the whole sport of paintball. Check out the Maxx 55 from PMI. Would you goto a 55 caliber for more accuracy?

While I was at 24Hour Games this past weekend for "Fighting Band of Brothers 2" I got to visit with Sonix LLC and bought a cool barrel cover from them. Also since they are having a Nam game in April I found a website called Sampan that offers vietnamese attire and such.

FPS series and MYPBSPACE.com

I think this site is doing what Scenario Paintball Update was supposed to do, its http://www.mypbspace.com/ similar to Myspace.com. The site boast that you can post your paintball pics and videos, check it out.

Also Tyger has come out with a interesting video on his FPS series. The FPS 5.0 takes a look at a indoor paintball field and tyger gets into a incident with one of Team Dynasty's members. You can find the FPS series on Google video.

I found two good sites recently that are about or relate to paintball teams. One is paintballteams.com and the second is "How to be a team player"

Kill Devil Hill

As I walked the dirt path up Kill Devils Hill in Kitty Hawk NC, I just found the place inspiring. I had just heard that the Wright brothers took their knowledge from being businessmen and owning a bicycle shop up north and applied it to this project they had: to build a contraption that could fly on its own. For some reason I was able to see their plight, to go into the unknown like that and just go for it. I was able to see that their struggles in creating something new was no simpler than ours today. They had to battle the elements,structure, safety,their ideas not being taken seriously, nothing different than anyone who strikes out on their own today. But I also saw their spirit, to create, to go beyond the norm and reach for something that has yet to be realized. I was really struck by it,and I took mental notes that one day, something would come of this revelation.

So what does the Wright brothers have to do with Paintball or Scenario Paintball for that matter? Well ,esp for Scenario, lot of props, tanks, costumes , gun mods all stem from this idea to go beyond what is given to us and strike out into unfamiliar ground. Take any scenario you goto and you will find a plethora of different people with specific knowledge about something unique and fascinating. I personally take a special interest in people that dare to strike out and try something, and work at it till they are somewhat satisfied. But also, just for someone to have extensive knowledge on a subject is intriguing as well. On this blog you may find some idea's I had that haven't developed or are coming to fruition. I hope to that anyone who likes to tinker would post a comment and share what your working on or thinking of.
